Jollene Ellis
Senior Left Brain Lead Teacher
Although she began her career in the Oil & Gas industry, Jollene Ellis initially left to focus on spending time with and raising her three daughters. It was then that she realized her passion for helping young children with their development and growth. With Montessori and Early Childhood Education certifications, Jollene worked in the early learning field in various capacities, before joining the Kids U West 85th family as the Senior Preschool program’s Left Brain Lead Teacher.
Fiona Patterson
Program Supervisor
Ms. Fiona cites her own preschool teacher for inspiring her to pursue a career in early childhood education. After obtaining a diploma in Child and Youth Care from Lethbridge College, Ms. Fiona then went on to embark on a career in the field, and now has just over six years of experience in early learning. First, in her role as Lead Teacher in the Right Brain room at Kids U Braeside, to a leadership role as Program Supervisor Assistant at West 85th, and now as Program Supervisor, Ms. Fiona continues to uphold the values she picked up from her earliest memories at preschool – building relationships with her young students and accompanying them through their path of lifelong learning.
