Kids U Calgary has announced the expansion of their McKnight location, in order to accommodate its continuing growth. The new space is directly adjoining the current center, and will allow for an additional 344 square meters and a capacity of approximately 70-80 more children.The success of Kids U’s Junior Preschool program, one of the first implemented in daycares across Calgary, prompted the expansion, which will now give the program twice the amount of space needed to house its growing needs.
“The importance of early brain development is finally being recognized as it should in Alberta,” said the company’s executive director Anil Karim. “The overwhelmingly positive response we have received about our Junior Preschool program, along with some exciting partnerships and several new centers slated to open in the new year, are showing a very bright future for Kids U.”
