    Jessica Reid is Kids U McKnight's Program Supervisor. Previously, Jessica has held the position of Right Brain preschool lead teacher, and Program Assistant at this campus. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of child care, and through her work, emphasizes the importance of supporting and accommodating the individual needs of her students. Jessica cites her enthusiastic daughter as her teacher in how to be caring, patient and adaptable.

    Jocelyn Rod started with Kids U as a Program Supervisor Assistant in December 2019, and her passion for working with children allowed her to take on a leadership role early on. With an Early Childhood Education Diploma from Sheridan College in Ontario, Jocelyn has over 10 years experience working with children of various ages.  Currently, Jocelyn is the Program Supervisor at Kids U New Brighton.

    Louise McIlhargey has been a valued staff member at Kids U for almost 5 years, starting as a Movement teacher at Kids U McKnight, to a lead Movement teacher at Kids U West 85th. Most recently, she has assumed the role of program coordinator with the West 85th team. True to her roots as a Movement teacher, Louise is an avid outdoor sports fan, and particularly enjoys rollerblading and disc golf in her spare time. Louise holds a certificate in Early Childhood Development.

    As Kids U Walden's Program Supervisor, Jenny Hinther brings a wide scope of experience in the field of care. She holds both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor in Sociology, and has worked with a variety of age groups, including adults with disabilities, children with autism, summer camp children and out-of-school care. Her passion for early childhood education was discovered early in her career when she completed a volunteer placement with children in Guatemala.

    As Kids U Strathmore's Program Supervisor, Kara Dafoe leads the site with her highly-qualified background in early learning and childcare. She holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education from St. Clair College in Ontario. With almost 10 of experience in the child care field and a mother to a lively toddler, Kara is passionate about working with children, and strives to build confidence, self-esteem, love and awareness in each child at her campus.

    Before accepting the role of program supervisor at Kids U Bridgeland, Anmol Kalirao was a vibrant presence in the Junior Left Brain room at Kids U McKnight. She holds a diploma in Early Learning and Childcare, as well as a Montessori diploma, and has over five years of experience working with young children. With a particular passion for teaching the Montessori philosophy to children, Anmol's work with the infants at Kids U Bridgeland aims to help them develop and to build confidence among them.

    Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health from McGill University

    Katherine Viltofsky holds certifications to teach physical education and health at both elementary and high school levels. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health from McGill University in Toronto, Katherine has over 10 years of experience working with children in schools, working in the child care department in the form of after-school programs, and held the position of Lead Movement teacher at Kids U McKnight before taking over the Program Supervisor role there. Most recently, Katherine has used her years of experience with Kids U to help open and run the Kids U Centennial campus as its Program Supervisor.

    Melissa Hackett has an extensive background in early childhood education, stemming from her passion for working with children in her early teens. A graduate of Mount Royal University's Early Childhood Development program, she has worked with children of almost every age group. Melissa's experience in childcare, and in running several childcare centres, makes her an outstanding presence at Kids U West 85th as their Program Supervisor.

    Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a degree in Secondary Physical Education

    Celeste McIlhargey was formerly Kids U McKnight's preschool gym teacher, and program supervisor with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a degree in Secondary Physical Education. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, and her educational career has taken her all the way to Kenya, Africa, teaching physical education to high school students. Her vast knowledge of the Kids U curriculum and passion for "brain building" has led her to assume a position within the Program Implementation Team, where she is able to share this knowledge and passion with all of the campuses across Calgary and Strathmore.

    Rashida Ali cites "personal growth" as one of her passions, which is clear in her time spent working with Kids U. Rashida began as a teacher in the Right Brain room at Kids U McKnight, and then transitioned to a program supervisor role at both the McKnight and New Brighton locations. Currently, Rashida holds the position of Program Manager, where she uses her knowledge of brain development and early childhood education, to support the programming teams across all four of our Kids U campuses.
