    Rania Beshay is a lead teacher in the Infants centre at Kids U McKnight. Formerly a teacher at our Bridgeland location, Rania has almost 10 years of experience in caring for young children. Rania holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the Alexandria University in Egypt, as well as certificates in Montessori education and child psychology.

    Lynda Mandam's passion for being around children and making a difference in their lives was what inspired her to start teaching, which has now blossomed into a 12-year career in the field. Her keen observations of children and their development is an integral part of the learning in Kids U Walden's Left Brain classroom, where she is a lead teacher. Lynda is an Association Montessori International-certified Montessori teacher, and holds a Masters in Public and Personal Management, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University in India.

    Norma Pinkihan is one of Kids U McKnight's many knowledgeable teachers in the Junior Preschool side. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary and Elementary Education, majoring in English Grammar and Literature at the University of The Cordilleras in the Philippines. Since graduating, Norma has been teaching both levels of education. Norma also holds a Level 111 certificate as a Child Development Supervisor, a Montessori certificate, and her vast experience in childcare and in a Montessori school environment fits perfectly with the Left Brain programs in our Junior Preschool.

    Originally from Pakistan, Samina Bokhari is one of Kids U's highly qualified Left Brain teachers. With a Masters degree in Child Development from Punjab University, Samina's passion for children prompted her to start her career in teaching when she moved to Canada, and eventually obtained a Montessori Teacher's Diploma from the Montessori Training Centre in Toronto. Her Montessori knowledge is a valued and fun presence in our Left Brain classrooms!

    Josefina Echavez began her career in child care in the Philippines, studying special education at the Cebu Technological University. Before moving to Canada, Josefina was a member of Rotary International, where she developed a strong devotion to the care of children. With years of experience in a Montessori environment, Josefina is a teaching assistant at the Bridgeland infant center.

    Maureen Santos is a Montessori-certified teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and units in Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from St. Paul Manila University. With 12 years of preschool teaching experience, Maureen’s classroom focuses on teaching the Montessori method based on each individual child and their personality and personal development pace.

    Myla Soliman is a junior preschool teacher with over 25 years of experience in childhood education, in both local and International Montessori and Conventional Schools. This includes several years of experience as a Preschool Coordinator, Academic Head, Class Montessori Lead Directress and Assistant Guidance Counselor. With a Bachelor of Science in both Education and Psychology from St. Paul University, Myla has developed age-appropriate programs for her preschool students which she has employed in both international and Montessori settings. Myla also has a Master of Arts in Child Studies and has certificates in several levels of Montessori.

Lauren graduated from Bow Valley College with a diploma in Early Childcare, and has several years of experience in the childcare field with almost a year specific to early childhood education.

Her love for working with children has gained her experience in working behaviourally with children and youth with autism, both in the preschool setting as well as in homes and residential centres. Taiya brings her nurturing presence to Kids U West 85th's Right Brain room as a lead teacher.

April's education combined with 8 years of experience working with typical development and special needs children has helped her develop a well rounded philosophy of education. April believes that learning should be fun and it's the teachers job to foster lifelong enjoyment of education. This enjoyment starts by alloeig children the opportunity to learn through their own individual interest and also through natural environments around them. If children develop the skills of learning through passion, lifetime learnig is a natural progression.

    Marjorie Arabos is one of Kids U Bridgeland's Infant teachers, spending her time with the children in the Right Brain room. With a Bachelor in Elementary Education from the University of Pangasinan, in the Philippines, Marjorie has more than 15 years of experience working with elementary school-aged children. Working with babies under 19 months, Marjorie has been a wonderful part of the Kids U Bridgeland teaching family for almost a year.

    Anita Leysa is one of Kids U Bridgeland's Junior Infant Teachers. With a Bachelor of Science in Education and a major in General Science at Notre Dame of Marbel University in the Philippines, Anita has an extensive background working with children of all ages. Her 20 years of teaching experience include work as a high school teacher and she also holds a Canada Child Care Staff Certificate for Child Development Supervisor. Anita incorporates her scientific knowledge to her day-to-day interactions in the Right Brain room with her young students.

    Since the beginning of her experiences as an early childhood educator, Jing Chen has believed that parents are a child's first teachers. With a certificate for Early Childhood Education from Bow Valley College, Jing is a Right Brain teacher at Kids U Bridgeland's infant centre. Currently pursuing a diploma in Early Childhood Education, Jing uses a Reggio-inspired method of teaching and enforces a good working relationship with the parents of her young students to benefit the children's development and early learning.

    Lori Slachta-Tompkins has a multitude of experience teaching children since first obtaining her Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge. With a major in General Elementary Education and a minor in Drama, Lori's outgoing personality and a flair for the dramatic generates a fun and creative atmosphere in our Right Brain room. Her most recent position prior to joining Kids U McKnight's team allowed her to train in the Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy of teaching and she has gained a true passion for it, making her the perfect fit to be our Right Brain lead teacher.

    An avid believer in the importance of learning in the early years of a child’s life, Lana Yun’s career in education started when she received her Master’s of Education from Kyungnam University in Korea. Since then, she has worked as an English teacher at an English preschool and kindergarten in Korea, before moving to Canada and working with preschoolers at a non-profit facility in Calgary. Lana also has a diploma in Early Learning and Childcare from Bow Valley College. She is one of Kids U Braeside’s Senior Right Brain teachers.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the National Teachers College of the Philippines, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.

    Cassondra Stapor is Kids U Braeside's Program Coordinator. She has always loved the administrative atmosphere, but her main passion is working with children. Cassondra holds a Level 2 Child Development Worker certificate from Lethbridge College and is currently obtaining her Level 3 Child Development Supervisor certificate. With a mix of two years of administrative experience and over six years working with children ranging from infant to school age, Cassondra brings hard work and passion to our New Brighton centre.

Lauren is Kids U Walden's Program Supervisor.

    Ada Song holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration and Education from the respected Zhengzhou University in China, as well as an Early Learning and Child Care diploma from Bow Valley College. An active participator in professional development during her time as a child care educator, Ada brings a continuous aspect of development to the Reggio classrooms at our Bridgeland centre.

    Celeste McIlhargey was formerly Kids U McKnight's preschool gym teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a degree in Secondary Physical Education. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, and her educational career has taken her all the way to Kenya, Africa, teaching physical education to high school students. She has now assumed the position of Program Supervisor at Kids U McKnight, and is an integral part of their site leadership.

    Kay Son has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Kyungin University in Korea. Born and raised in Seoul, Kay has 17 years of teaching experience at the elementary school level. She supplemented her degree in Education with teaching courses at Bow Valley College and uses both the Reggio and Montessori methods of teaching. At Kids U, Kay works in an infant Reggio classroom, specializing in children-based learning at a young age.
